How to use
- Enable the microphone.
- Play one string or isolated note.
- Tune until the indicator is close to zero cents.
How the tuner identifies pitch
With your permission, the tuner listens to the played note, identifies the most likely frequency and shows the note and cents deviation.
Background noise, room echo and playing several strings together can confuse detection. Pluck one string at a time and let it ring steadily.
Standard guitar tuning
Standard guitar tuning from the lowest-pitched string to the highest is E A D G B E. The tuner can also help with bass and other instruments as long as the pitch falls within a range the microphone and device can detect.
Turn tuning pegs in small steps. As you approach the target note, use tiny adjustments to avoid overshooting repeatedly.

Instrument safety
Very flat strings may need several turns, but if the display suddenly shows a much higher note than expected, stop and confirm which string you are tuning. Excessive tension can break a string.
The microphone is used only after your permission. You can stop the tuner at any time.
